Sap Download Sapcar.exe

Hi, The SAP software 'sapcar.exe' is certainly SAP's own compression device. The old software was previously called 'car' as well as the newer tool is named 'sapcar.exe'. The extensions of most compressed files have been named '.CAR' as well. In SAP put out 4.6C SAP made a decision to enhance the features of the CAR utility a little.

Therefore, the inner structure with the compressed files just a little changed. Because of this, it was necessary to create a different extension.

There the new extension '.SAR' was created and the new utility was named SAPCAR. The new SAPCAR utility could work with both formats (.Automobile.SAR). The older version CAR can only just decompress.CAR data. So, you should switch - even yet in older releases - towards the newer toolkit called SAPCAR, because SAP sometimes delivers even for older produces SAR Files previously.
